Administrator – Part Time


South Shields

Company Description

We are proudly representing our public sector client based in South Shields for their search for an Administrator. They now have an immediate requirement to recruit for a temporary assignment to start as soon as possible until October 2021. You must have access to your own vehicle as you will be travelling between sites. This role is working 16 hours a week.


Job Specification

The Role

  • Answering telephone calls
  • Resolving telephone and email enquiries
  • Diary Management
  • Document production
  • Monitoring stationery and PPE stock levels
  • Ordering of stationery and PPE
  • Maintaining spreadsheets
  • Point of contact
  • Ordering and receiving testing kits
  • Distributing testing kits to staff across 2 sites
  • Sending weekly reminders to staff
  • General record keeping of testing kit distribution
  • Recording of when staff take the tests and the results
  • Weekly testing report
  • Provide advice and guidance where appropriate
  • Collate staff consent

The Person

  • Relevant administration experience.
  • Must have a full UK drivers licence
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and interpersonal skills
  • Good numerical and analytical skills
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office Applications
  • The ability to organise and prioritise work, meet deadlines, work under pressure and handle a number of tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work accurately and a good eye for detail
  • Able to work as an effective team member with minimum supervision
  • Ability to deal with sensitive information, maintaining confidentiality
  • Proactive approach to resolving problems
  • Initiative and self-motivation to achieve results
