MTrec Commercial is proudly representing our market leading customer service and marketing client in their search to appoint a fluent bi-lingual French and German speaking translation advisor as soon as possible, on a permanent basis. The company are a very diverse international group who work with many of the world’s leading brands. You will be working in a friendly and team-based culture. The roles are initially working from home, though you may need to return to the Newcastle office on a full or part time basis.

The Role

  • Provide verbatim translations from the required languages into English via a bespoke translation website.
  • Ensure timely delivery of translations
  • Ensure the accurate delivery of translations
  • Build a relationship and work closely with the team to ensure a full understanding of the requirements and to ensure the highest quality of service
  • Work to reach personal benchmark goals and exceed where possible to enable the team to meet clients' SLAs
  • Meet individual productivity and QC targets to the required standard
  • Liaise with other team members of the team to ensure that quality and consistency is maintained
  • Make proper use of company systems
  • Ensure all knowledge of company policies, procedures and processes is kept up to date
  • Any other reasonable tasks as required by the company at any given time

The Person

  • You must be fluent to native level and bi-lingual in French and German as well as English. Both written and spoken.
  • Ideally, you will have previous translation experience.
  • Able to work from home and also live in commutable distance to the offices in Newcastle
  • Have a high focus on attention to detail
  • Be delivery focused
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Good basic numeracy skills
  • Good understanding of the Google suite
  • Be flexible, contractual hours state the need to be flexible to work between 7am and 6pm (8-hour shifts)

Monday to Friday and between 8am and 4.40pm on weekends. (If weekend working is
