Company Description

Our client is an established and successful company based in Chester-le-Street. They are currently looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis. If you are interested and meet the person specification of the job role, please apply below.

Job Specification


The Role

  • Process and manage customer orders from receipt through to delivery
  • Proactively identify, overcome, or escalate any issues that may affect customer satisfaction
  • Positive and effective communication with internal and external customers
  • Manage customer stock holding in line with agreements
  • Obtain and maintain customer forecasts
  • Prompt resolution of invoice queries
  • Support colleagues in the CS team as required Maintain customer profiles to the agreed standard
  • Follow, review and improve upon department SOP’s
  • High standard of product knowledge, materials, and their functionality
  • Ensure the needs of the customer and wider business are fully met by fully supporting the Sales department in meeting demand and resolving customer queries.

The Person

  • Strong administration skills are essential
  • Ideally a background working in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience using and interrogating ERP Systems
  • Knowledge of MFGPro
  • Skills in managing internal customers
  • Experience working with blue chip organisations
  • Good telephone manner
  • Able to multi-task
