Job Specification
The Role
- Process and manage customer orders from receipt through to delivery
- Proactively identify, overcome, or escalate any issues that may affect customer satisfaction
- Positive and effective communication with internal and external customers
- Manage customer stock holding in line with agreements
- Obtain and maintain customer forecasts
- Prompt resolution of invoice queries
- Support colleagues in the CS team as required Maintain customer profiles to the agreed standard
- Follow, review and improve upon department SOP’s
- High standard of product knowledge, materials, and their functionality
- Ensure the needs of the customer and wider business are fully met by fully supporting the Sales department in meeting demand and resolving customer queries.
The Person
- Strong administration skills are essential
- Ideally a background working in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience using and interrogating ERP Systems
- Knowledge of MFGPro
- Skills in managing internal customers
- Experience working with blue chip organisations
- Good telephone manner
- Able to multi-task
