Job Specification

The Job You’ll Do;

 

  • To ensure that the facility and production equipment are operational when needed and are suitably maintained to ensure that they operate safely and efficiently with minimal unplanned disruption to production operations.
  • Plans and undertakes preventative and reactive maintenance activities of the facility, plant, and production equipment.
  • Ensure that you are leading by example, developing, and delivering on the Technimark standard for safety and quality.
  • Overall responsibility for the control and performance of your team, and ensuring that development, training, and review is appropriate, timely and effective.
  • To include performing any of the functions of the team members within the work group.
  • Provide technical insight and support for annual capital budgeting and projects.
  • Participate in any ISO 9000 / 14001 / 13485 audits.
  • With a hands-on approach, ensures that Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic systems and equipment are available and operational to meet the needs of the business.
  • Sources and controls appropriate external contractors/suppliers of equipment and/or services to support in specialist areas to enable the successful delivery of duties.
  • To work collaboratively with the technical, production and quality departments to ensure that production operations run at maximum efficiency and quality with the minimum of downtime.

About You;

  • A good working knowledge of GMP and safe ways of working.
  • Good understanding of PLC systems with the ability to interpret electrical drawings.
  • Understanding of ISO 9000, IOSH/NEBOSH, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, ISO 18001
  • Minimum of NVQ level 3 in mechanical, electrical, facility/construction or maintenance engineering
  • Maintenance/engineering experience.
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems experience
