The Job you will do:
- Following up on qualified and pre-vetted client leads
- Prospecting and maintaining own pipeline of clients and leads
- Attending client meetings as and when appropriate
- Conducting outbound calls to new business clients with a view to maximize profits
- Portfolio and key account management
- Dealing with general client enquiries when needed
- Booking client jobs upon completion of sale
About you:
- You will have previous experience in a business development role, ideally within a freight and logistics setting
- You will be a dedicated and motivated individual, who seeks to overcome challenges with a solution focused approach
- You will have excellent communication and customer service skills
- You will be expected to work on an on-call rota, once every 5-6 weeks- appropriate renumeration will be provided.
- Holding a full driving license and having access to your own vehicle would be advantageous but is not essential for the role.
