Company Description

Our client is an established and successful company based in Gateshead. They are currently looking for a Sales Administrator to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. If you are interested and meet the person specification of the job role, please apply below.

Job Specification


The Role you will be doing:

  • Respond to internal and external enquiries via email and telephone
  • Respond to delivery requests and stock availability from web/email/telephone enquiries
  • Quote preparation and keep log of quotes raised ensuring quotations have received approvals
  • Update prices for customer accounts
  • Manage customer accounts
  • Order entry
  • Check price
  • Check stock levels
  • Follow orders through to be shipped
  • Perform general administration tasks, including filing and keeping spreadsheets updated
  • Run reports to measure delivery performance / other measurables to support account management team
  • Maintain customer database and record interactions
  • Arrange for goods to be returned using the MRA system.
  • Raise any credits where appropriate and approved
  • Take on project work as needed to continually improve customer experience
  • Engage and take on projects required for business in response to regulatory / sales needs
  • Work closely with sales administration / operations and sales team to deliver high level of customer satisfaction

  • Ability to handle own workload and prioritise to achieve all required objectives within expected timelines
  • High level of business acumen
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience of UK preferably within a scientific/ healthcare setting

Shift patterns/Working hours;

  • Monday – Friday
  • 9-5

Hourly pay rates on offer;

  • Salary dependant on experience
