Admin Assistant

Company Description

Our client is an established and successful company based in Longbenton. They are currently looking for an Admin Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. If you are interested and meet the person specification of the job role, please apply below.

Job Specification

The Role you will be doing:

  • General admin support to operations, commercial, design and accounts departments
  • Assist with document control
  • Assist with Aftercare & Defects admin and reports
  • Reception cover as and when required
  • Purchasing of general site materials and consumables
  • Assist directors and senior management team when required
  • Organising and providing refreshments for internal & external meetings
  • Assist the Contracts Managers in the preparation and submission of O&M manuals
  • Ensure online and paper filing systems are maintained and current
  • Assist with archiving and storage of documents within the office and warehouse
  • Assist with booking transport and accommodation
  • Maintain stationary supplies and equipment, with cost-effective purchasing
  • Co-ordinate office equipment maintenance and repairs
  • Assist with customer enquiries and complaints (mail/telephone/emails)
  • Deal with post and correspondence

About You;

  • NVQ 2/3 or equivalent in Business Administration
  • Microsoft Office Applications, including Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills & ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work on own initiative
