The job you will do:
- Drive sales and profitability by delivering KPIs.
- Ensure marketing material is displayed in accordance with company instructions and promotional activities championed.
- Optimise shop product availability and displays to maximise sale potential.
- Complete weekly shop rotas ensuring SPMH targets are met
- Track cash balances, inventory & review operator reports and follow up on discrepancies.
- Complete weekly stock takes, monitor waste, and take appropriate action.
- Responsible for daily cashing up of tills, ensuring all discrepancies are investigated and rectified.
- Ensure audit standards are always maintained, if/when required ensure all audit actions are signed off in timely manner.
- Responsible for ensuring the Shop reporting of near misses, ensuring all accidents are reported and follow up actions are closed out.
- To manage staff hygiene, housekeeping and ensuring adherence to all 4 CCPs.
- Lead by example ensuring safe working practices through observation, supervision, and training.
- Monitoring and report potential hazards in the working environment and ensure Health and Safety standards are always maintained.
- Actively manage the performance, absence, & conduct of your group employees.
- Ensure absence, lateness is tracked and return to works are completed on all occasions.
- Ensure your teams are trained to the company standards and refreshers are up to date.
- Coach and develop all employees, identify poor performance, offer corrective coaching, and offer praise and recognition where appropriate.
- Pro-actively lead & manage recruitment for your shop to ensure staffing levels meet the business needs
- Ensure employee relations issues such as employee conflict and grievances are dealt with promptly and in accordance with company policies and procedure.
- Lead by example, always demonstrate professional conduct and ensure all employees always adhere to rights respecting.
- Ensure payroll timesheets are completed and authorised in a timely manner, adhering to payroll deadlines.
About you:
- You will have previous retail management experience, preferably within fast food, this would be preferred but is not essential
- You will be flexible to work across a wide range of stores as and when required
- You must be able to work any 5 days out of 7 and flexible between 7am and 5pm
- You will be detail oriented and diligent in your approach to work
- Must be a confident communicator and IT Literate
