Company Description
We are proudly representing our client based in Billingham for their search for an Accounts Assistant. They now have an immediate requirement to recruit for a 6 month contract. This is a full time role based on 37.5hr week.
Job Specification
The Role
- Sales Ledger
- Purchase Ledger
- Inputting invoices onto the accounts package
- Price checking and matching invoices
- Checking orders to order confirmations
- General admin duties such as reception, post, and any other ad-hoc duties as required by the business
- Use of accounts systems
- Deal with supplier queries in a timely and efficient manne
- Ensure client details are correct
The Person
- Knowledge of Sage 50 is essential
- Computer literate
- Excellent Excel skills
- Team Player
- Able to use self-initiative
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to help others when necessary
- A friendly, polite individual who is comfortable using the telephone and greeting people whilst covering reception
