We are proudly representing our public sector client based in Sunderland for their search for a Clerk Typist. They now have an immediate requirement to recruit for a temporary assignment to start as soon as possible until August 2019.

Job Specification

The Role

  • Operation of standard office equipmen
  • General administration
  • Word processing
  • Produce or edit various document
  • Receives and gather data to create documents from scratch or from existing material
  • Data entry and filing
  • Reception work
  • Answering phones
  • Greeting visitors

The Person

  • Strong literacy skills
  • An understanding of spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • Numeracy skills sufficient to undertake straightforward arithmetic functions
  • An understanding of percentages and decimals
  • Able to type and set out an e-mail or WP document quickly and accuratel
  • Able to follow instructions and procedures without constant supervision
  • Ability to form appropriate relationships quickly
  • Ability to work in a systematic and orderly manner
