Our client is a successful and established company based in Newcastle upon Tyne. They are looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to join them on a full time, permanent basis. If you meet the person specification for the role, please apply for an immediate response.

Job Specification

The Job you will be Doing

  • Deliver an outstanding customer service by maintaining relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Respond to inbound calls and initiate outbound calls/email correspondence to customers
  • Process customer orders through internal record management systems.
  • Manage customer expectations advising on lead times, share product knowledge and alternative available.
  • Report and escalate customer queries to the Customer Service Team Leader as appropriate.
  • Support other team members as and when required.
  • Process orders, repeat orders, fitting adjustments, and bespoke order.
  • Coordinate returns with the Warehouse and arrange replacements if required.
  • Arrange orders and take card payments

About You

  • Previous customer service experience is essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational & prioritisation skills in a demanding environment.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Good IT proficiency.
  • Always maintains levels of confidentiality.
  • Willing to assist colleagues where necessary.
  • Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others.
  • High customer service ethic – is passionate about meeting customer expectations and improving service levels.
  • Can do attitude.
  • Takes accountability and initiate action, rather than waiting for someone else to do it.
  • Approach colleagues with solutions to problems, not just the problem
