Our client is an established and successful manufacturing company based in Gateshead. They are currently looking for an Administrator to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. Job Specification
The Role
- Answering the telephone and directing calls, answering any queries
- Handling purchasing accounts. Dealing with emails, invoices, statements, payments and bank feedsChecking back order items / late items
- Following up on missed deliveries
- Returns to suppliers
- Chase overdue payments
- Sales Order discounts
- Stock location
- Stock checking certain items
- Price updates
- Post sorting
- Returns from customers
- Booking in and out repairs
- Organise some stock take
- During busy periods it may include the following; Booking In Deliveries and Dispatching Mail Orders
The Person
- Strong administration background
- Experience using sage would be preferred
- Strong Excel skills
- High attention to detail
- Adhere to strict deadlines
- Manage workload in an organised manner
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to pick up new skills
- Team orientated but also able to work independently when required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
