Company Description

Our client is an established and successful manufacturing company based in Gateshead. They are currently looking for an Administrator to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. If you are interested and meet the person specification of the job role, please apply below. This role is flexible on being part time/ full time for the right candidate.

Job Specification

The Role

  • Answering the telephone and directing calls, answering any queries
  • Handling purchasing accounts. Dealing with emails, invoices, statements, payments and bank feedsChecking back order items / late items
  • Following up on missed deliveries
  • Returns to suppliers
  • Chase overdue payments
  • Sales Order discounts
  • Stock location
  • Stock checking certain items
  • Price updates
  • Post sorting
  • Returns from customers
  • Booking in and out repairs
  • Organise some stock take
  • During busy periods it may include the following; Booking In Deliveries and Dispatching Mail Orders

The Person

  • Strong administration background
  • Experience using sage would be preferred
  • Strong Excel skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Adhere to strict deadlines
  • Manage workload in an organised manner
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to pick up new skills
  • Team orientated but also able to work independently when required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
