Our client is an established and successful manufacturing company based in Durham. They are currently looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their team on a permanent basis. If you are interested and meet the person specification of the job role, please apply below. This is a full time role working Monday- Friday with 1 Saturday in every 4 weeks. You must be available to work between the hours of 8am- 8pm.

Job Specification

The Role

  • Providing customer service support via email and telephone when necessary.
  • Professionally handle incoming requests from customers and ensure that issues are resolved both promptly and thoroughly.
  • Provide quality service and support in a variety of areas
  • Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer’s experience.
  • Liaise with management team to ensure that the best possible service is provided to all customers.
  • Track stock workload and provide accurate performance KPIs.
  • Responsible for day to day management of stock order issues and bringing them to an efficient resolution
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal purchasing department to get the latest information regarding stock availability.

The Person

  • Minimum of 2 – 3 years customer service experience over the phone and email
  • Computer Literate
  • Professional telephone manner
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and enjoy working as part of a team
  • Manage workload in an organised manner
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Team orientated but also able to work independently when required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
