Company Description
Our client is an established and successful manufacturing company based in Durham. They are currently looking for an Account Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. If you are interested and meet the person specification of the job role, please apply below. This is a full time role working Monday- Friday with 1 Saturday in every 4 weeks. You must be available to work between the hours of 8am- 8pm.
Job Specification
The Role
- Professionally handle incoming calls from clients and ensure that queries are handled both promptly and thoroughly.
- Provide customer quality service
- Provide a telesales function which includes, up-selling, sales/marketing promotional campaigns.
- Making outbound calls to current client’s for updates regarding order processes and time frames
- Have great product knowledge
- Working a part of a team of advisors
- Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive sales.
The Person
- Sales experience is essential
- Able to communicate professionally and build great rapport with key clients
- Sales driven and able to work towards KPI’s
- Have a high level of computer skills
- Have a track record of delivering results and exceeding stretching targets
- Stay motivated in a targeted environment where the rewards for achieving are sky high
- Be tenacious, adaptable and resilient
- Show a real hunger when it comes to spotting a potential customer and closing a deal with them
- Love talking to people and have a knack for understanding their needs
