Company Description

Our client is a market leading outsourced customer service operation, supporting a variety of blue-chip clients and leading brand names by providing a first-class telephone and email support service. The company is located in Newcastle City Centre, with superb modern office facilities, and excellent transport links. The company has developed a friendly, supportive and welcoming team environment with incredible growth and expansion for the rest of 2019 and into 2020. To help facilitate this growth they are now looking for an experienced Team Leader/Team Manager from a contact centre/customer service background and to join their team on 21/10/19. You will initially join them on a temporary basis, with excellent opportunities to become a permanent member of staff and to then progress further within the organisation.  

Job Specification

The Role

  • You will be responsible for a team of 15 Advisors. Ensuring the team are motivated and focused.
  • Team Management -Resolving any issues, support, reward and recognition.
  • Absence Management – Welfare, back to work interviews, encouraging the worker to return to work.
  • Performance Management – The Quality and Productivity of the team, ensuring the targets are achieved.
  • Shift Times: 08:00 – 21:00 – Monday to Sunday. You must be flexible for these hours, you will receive 2 days off per week. And will work 1 in 3 weekends.

The Person

  • Must have been a Team Leader or higher in their career – and recently.
  • Must have experience of working in a call centre/contact centre environment, or large high-volume customer service operation.
  • Able to demonstrate a loyal and long-term approach to their next role.
  • Available to start on the 21st October.
