The Role

Working with the development team and alongside the infrastructure and data science teams you will collaborate on building, maintain and improving the various layers of our web services and applications.  Underpinning all the responsibilities is the role of providing support and assistance across the Technology, Innovation Team and wider business, with an expectation of flexibility in undertaking responsibilities in keeping with the needs of the business.

• Development of services using MS Dynamics 365 and O365 platform in line with the Technology team’s agile development process
• Systems integration to ensure data flows where necessary between business systems
• Maintain relevant code integrity and organisation.
• Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications
• Understanding and implementation of security and data protection
• Building and connecting APIs to extend the features of the platform.
• Support for all company systems within KPIs defined in the Technology team’s customer care process
• Working with business teams to continuously support, review and improve the business systems platform
• Development of business information dashboards and reporting based on customer requirements to enable effective use of business intelligence 
• The role holder is not a budget holder but is responsible for managing and monitoring costs of projects within defined budgets. Responsibility for time and task management of projects.

Essential Experience, skills and knowledge

• Degree in relevant subject or equivalent experience 
• Experience in Dynamics 365 configuration
• Experience of using O365 applications, specifically SharePoint, PowerApps and Flow for business use
• A good knowledge of.NET Framework and JavaScript
• Knowledge and experience of using Power BI
• Understanding of the project and agile systems development lifecycle
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High IT literacy
• Ability to adhere to internal standardization and processes

Desirable skills

• Experience of MS Azure
• Familiarity with front end technologies
• MsSQL knowledge
• Experience of CX and CI as part of web applications development
• Experience of CRM configuration
• Knowledge of Umbraco CMS
