Company Description

Our client is an established and successful manufacturing company based in South Durham. They are currently looking for a Treasury Clerk to join their team on a permanent basis. Job Specification

The Role

  • Adhering to a daily, weekly and monthly timetable to ensure key objectives are completed within set deadlines.
  • Processing weekly Payment runs for all sites
  • Processing of incoming/outgoing payments.
  • Ensuring correct approvals are adhered to.
  • Conducting month & year end reconciliations.
  • Bank reconciliations, managing petty cash, general admin.
  • Compliance with data protection and archiving documentation.

The Person

  • Good working knowledge and experience of SAP Finance is essential.
  • Previous experience within a finance function is essential, ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • A good level of computer skills is required; along with excel experience at a competent level.
  • Speed, accuracy and attention to detail all essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation, both internally and externally.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Willing to learn, be trained and progress
  • A positive attitude and enthusiasm shown towards the role and the department.
  • A flexible approach to working hours as overtime will be required periodically.
