Our client is an established and successful manufacturing company based in South Durham. They are currently looking for a Treasury Clerk to join their team on a permanent basis. Job Specification
The Role
- Adhering to a daily, weekly and monthly timetable to ensure key objectives are completed within set deadlines.
- Processing weekly Payment runs for all sites
- Processing of incoming/outgoing payments.
- Ensuring correct approvals are adhered to.
- Conducting month & year end reconciliations.
- Bank reconciliations, managing petty cash, general admin.
- Compliance with data protection and archiving documentation.
The Person
- Good working knowledge and experience of SAP Finance is essential.
- Previous experience within a finance function is essential, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- A good level of computer skills is required; along with excel experience at a competent level.
- Speed, accuracy and attention to detail all essential.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation, both internally and externally.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
- Willing to learn, be trained and progress
- A positive attitude and enthusiasm shown towards the role and the department.
- A flexible approach to working hours as overtime will be required periodically.
