Company Description
Our highly prestigious Newcastle City Centre customer service client is continuing to expand due to the increased requirements from its highly respected customer base.
They now have an immediate need to recruit an experienced customer service advisor who is available and ready to start an 8-week temporary assignment next week. So, you must be ready and available as well as having the current flexibility to start a new position as soon as possible.
Job Specification
The Role
- You will be working in a highly organised team-based environment with the very latest socially distancing measures in place to ensure a safe working environment.
- The role will involve taking calls, responding to emails, all inbound query handling. The role will be 50% taking customer service calls and 50% customer service emails, as a guide depending on work load.
- Resolving customer issues and providing an effective solution.
- You will be working with a customer IT system, so you must be IT literate.
- The offices are located in the centre of Newcastle, with excellent transport links.
The Person
- You must have customer service experience.
- You will be happy with both telephone and email customer service responses.
- You must be IT literate.
- You must be available and ready to start a new and exciting role next week.
- You must be friendly, enthusiastic and able to provide a great customer experience.

The Shifts/Hours
- Initially you will receive 3 days training then onto the shift pattern - 10-hour shifts working on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday every week. (This will not change)
- Times of work are 08.00 -18.00 or 11.00 -21.00 over the 4 days and they are 10-hour shifts.
